Officer Gannon was tragically shot and killed while serving a warrant this afternoon.

Created in the mid 1970's as an avenue for police and fire fighters to collectively bargain their disputes with municpalities voluntarily or if unable to do so, create a process or procedure to resolve their disputes, the JLMC has announced the following changes in staffing, policies and procedures, scheduling, and time frame for the completion of the formal process.
Prayers go out to the Baton Rouge PD along with the families/friends of those lost in yet another senseless attack on police.
This is not a peaceful protest. This is an all out war on the police in this country. We stand in solidarity with every law enforcement officer in this great nation. An attack on one is an attack on all. This needs to stop.
