    Posted On: Sep 247, 2012

The Massachusetts Municipal Police Coalition (MMPC) is a coalition of municipal police unions. The MMPC is formed and exists to facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, and resources among its member unions; to identify and work to achieve the important interests of municipal police officers; and to provide aid and assistance to member union's in the pursuit of their common goals in collective bargaining and in other forums.  The MMPC represents more than 1,500 front-line police officers in communities throughout greater Boston.  Our mission is to protect and advance the ability of public safety personnel to protect our citizenry.

The MMPC enthusiastically endorses Senator Scott Brown in his campaing for re election to the United State Senate.  Senator Brown has consistently supported men and women in law enforcement since his days as a member of the Wrentham Board of Selectman.  He understands the challenges that exist today to keep our citizenry safe and the work of those on the front line that do so. The MMPC is impressed with Senator Brown's efforts with Homeland Security and his work in getting the Secure Communities Initiative passed in Massachusetts

The MMPC is confident that Senator Brown will continue with his support of the collective bargaining process and working families of Massachusetts.
